Getting to Deathknell is fairly simple. You do a few tasks. You kill some stuff. You get loot along the way. You have lots of fun on the ride.

For Sol Invictus, its not about being the first on any server to get there. Its not about spending countless nights throwing ourselves at encounters over and over again, hoping something clicks.

Its about quality.

Quality time, in a quality guild with quality people. Its not about raiding forty hours a week. Its not about having a guild so big you see someone new everytime you log on.

We know less is more when quality is involved. We raid a mere fifteen hours a week. In that fifteen hours a week, we have done nearly as much as some guilds have done, raiding three times that amount.

Ironically, most players do not know who we are, even on our own server. That, however, is to be expected. You see, we don't disrupt other players' experiences for self gain. We don't charge into a zone and announce our arrival. We don't hang our trophies in public channels and hope people form a line to take a peek.

We simply do.

We understand our actions speak louder than our words. That is how we choose to express ourselves. Allow me to make the introduction...

We are Sol Invictus.

Now you may be wondering how you become a member. First visit our recruiting forum and check to see what your individual class requires and then make sure you also have the following:

A) Theatre of Blood access
B) Dreadspire Keep access
C) "Becoming the Vessel" task done
D) (Optional, but recommended) Anguish Signet Quest done

Unfortunately, we don't have room for everyone. That said, we will always consider exceptional players and/or very dedicated players. Quality is far greater than quantity when we invite someone to our guild particularly for classes that are currently closed.

You might wonder if you have what it takes? We can't answer that for you, but we can tell you what we expect.

#1 Dedication. We don't spend the bulk of our time raiding. So we expect an above average dedication to the time we do spend raiding. When not raiding, we expect a degree of dedication to your fellow guildmates.

#2 Ability. We expect you to know your class. If someone in guild has a greater ability than you, you will be expected to learn from them. We also expect that you will share knowledge with your class should the need arise.

#3 Desire. We want people with a desire to remain on the cutting edge of content. For some this may mean skipping content to make the move to Sol Invictus. That is a choice you alone can make.

That said, there are also a few things we do not want.

#1 People who put themselves first. Sol Invictus is a team. We win as a team and we fail as a team. Our success is based greatly on the fact we do things for each other and often members will put themselves behind other guildmates for the betterment of the guild.

#2 We do not want your ego. That does not mean an ego is a bad thing, it simply means we do not have room for it when it comes to doing things. A rather unique ability of all classes in SI is their ability to utilize any member of that class in any position. We do not have a "best of class" ranking in Sol Invictus.

And finally, as a raiding guild we expect you to raid. Our raid times are:

Tuesday: 7:30 pm EST
Thursday: 7:30 pm EST
Saturday: 11 am EST

Raids generally last 4-5 hours and raids are mandatory. We occasionally have off night raids in order to adjust lockouts and keep spawns on our raid nights. In most cases these are announced ahead of time and members who can, are expected to attend.
